Dr Sonya Jey has been a member of the reporting team at Medichecks since February 2020, providing expert feedback on results and responding to clinical queries.

Sonya studied medicine at University College London and now practises as a GP in Greater London. She has an interest in women's health, fertility, and menopause. She is a continued medical education (CME) accreditor at the Royal College of General Practitioners and works as a freelance medical education author for various medical publishers.

We asked Sonya what drew her to Medichecks.

“I was a customer of Medichecks before joining the team and found the service to be user-friendly and the customer care team easy to communicate with. Now on the other side, I value the relationship I’ve built with the customer care and clinical teams—the people here really do make Medichecks a great place to be!

“Medichecks offers customers somewhere to turn to when they suspect something isn’t quite right or are just looking for some reassurance. We will always advise when it is necessary to consult a GP or specialist. The option to include medical history and current medications means we can individualise reports as much as possible.”
