Dr Donna Payne interprets test results and gives our customers advice about the outcomes. Her support ranges from informed diet and lifestyle changes to what steps you should take to investigate a health concern.

Donna joined Medichecks in September 2020 and was first attracted to becoming a reporting doctor by her experience of Medichecks service. Donna advocates the convenience of home blood testing and how it empowers people with knowledge and advice about their health.

Outside of Medichecks, Donna is an occupational health doctor, a locum GP and works in the NHS and for online platforms. After studying medicine at St George’s Hospital Medical School in London, Donna is now undertaking a master’s degree from the University of Manchester.

We asked Donna how Medichecks helps people in their journey to better health.

“I think Medichecks is an excellent, comprehensive and convenient way to understand more about your health. For me, I enjoy the flexibility that Medichecks offers. But mainly, it’s helping people to take control of their health and make informed decisions.

“The tests on offer at Medichecks, along with doctors’ advice, are extremely helpful and can make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. My view is that home testing will become much more commonplace in the future, and I think our customers are ahead of the curve!

“My three children, one who has additional needs, take up much of my time – which I juggle while working and studying. I’m also a keen foodie, and I love to cook for the family. We also love getting outdoors, whether that’s cycling, walking, or camping.”
