Could you be our new Chief Hormone Ambassador?
We’re looking for a Chief Hormone Ambassador to help us improve hormone health advocacy and raise awareness of the impact hormone imbalances have on women’s lives.
Women, we need your help. In a survey of almost 600 women, more than one third (35.3%) told us that energy changes (such as being tired all the time, struggling to exercise, and general feelings of weariness), were the symptom of a hormone imbalance which was having the most significant impact on their daily lives.
Some respondents said their hormone imbalance symptoms even left them housebound, strained their relationships with their partners, and stopped them from spending time with their children.
However, because many factors can influence energy changes, it’s very common for hormone imbalances to remain undiagnosed – despite the huge impact they have on women’s lives.
Could you help us raise awareness of female hormone imbalances?
Medichecks is on a mission to raise awareness of female hormone imbalances.
To help us in this cause, we’re looking for one individual to become our Chief Hormone Ambassador. This person will share their experience of chronic tiredness and inspire others to check their hormone balance.
Who are we looking for to become our Chief Hormone Ambassador?
Here's who we're looking for to become this new kind of women's health ambassador:
- You'll be a woman aged 18+ based in the UK experiencing unexplained fatigue and at least one other listed symptom from mood changes, unintentional weight gain, or menstrual changes.
- You'll be prepared to take a quick hormone test as part of the selection process to determine whether you have a hormone imbalance.
- That's it!
You do not need to be knowledgeable about female hormones. We're not looking for hormone specialists - just someone who knows what it's like to experience the symptoms of a hormonal imbalance first-hand.
Unsure if you fit the criteria? Suppose you’re experiencing any kind of unexplained fatigue or one of the following symptoms: unexplained weight gain, changes in your mood or changes to your periods. In that case, that’s a valid reason to apply.
What will you do as Chief Hormone Ambassador?
If you’re chosen to be our Chief Hormone Ambassador, you’ll take part in a sleep experiment and help us fly the flag for other women suffering from hormone imbalances.
Here's what this involves:
- You'll keep a sleep diary over two weeks and implement some lifestyle changes recommended in consultation with one of our doctors.
- At the end of the experiment, you'll talk about your experience in press and/or social media content, which we'll set up for you.
Through these two steps in this vital role, you’ll be helping us advocate for others with a hormone condition, and you'll also inspire them to check in on their hormone health.

What will you get for being a Chief Hormone Ambassador?
As part of the selection process, shortlisted applicants will get a hormone test (RRP £79.00) for free. So, even if you don't get selected, you could learn more about your hormone levels!
If you’re selected to be our Chief Hormone Ambassador, you’ll receive a comprehensive support package to help you with your symptoms, including a free hormone test, personalised written consultation and £500.
Our expert team will provide advice for your symptoms and set you up with a personalised treatment plan.
You'll also be given the platform to speak about hormonal health advocacy and share your story.
