Medichecks is a fast growing consumer-health company using digital technology to transform the way that people engage with their health. We provide blood tests and health screens to individuals and companies.

Current opportunities

Senior Database Design Engineer

We are looking for Database Engineers to work as part of our development team responsible for designing and enhancing our complex health data stores and back office workflow systems. Working in a fast-paced, forward-thinking collaborative team environment, the successful candidates will have a solid background in data storage techniques, database design and performance tuning , as well as an aptitude for learning and applying new technologies languages and development tools. 

Essential skills: MySQL, ETL solutions.

Desirable: PHP Node.js Ruby .Net or similar programming language,AWS RDS, Neo4J or similar, Graduate qualification in software engineering.

Advantageous: ColdFusion

Doctors

You will have a wide range of clinical practice. A special interest in endocrinology and/or sports medicine would be beneficial. You will be asked to provide interpretation on a wide variety of tests including health screens, sports hormones, thyroid hormones, sexual health, fertility, diabetes and heart disease. You are a keen advocate for preventative health and the role of lifestyle and nutrition in preventing disease. You are a passionate communicator and believe in and support the individual's right to take control of their own health.

You embrace technology and are comfortable using systems in your day-to-day work. You are self-motivated and disciplined and can work remotely. You can commit to at least 6 hours per week during working hours. You may also be available to work evenings and weekends.
